Team CORE is a student team and start-up focused on enabling a circular economy. We are an organization that enables students and interns to make an impact on society during their studies. Within CORE you get real responsibility over new innovative projects, in which we will teach you more than just what you need to pass the project. With coaches inside and outside of the organization we provide the best possible personalized learning school.
The Project
One of the projects undertaken by CORE is the design and realization of a battery recycling factory. Normally when batteries are damaged, they immediately catch fire, and because they produce their own oxygen, these fires cannot be extinguished. In 2021 CORE produced a shredder installation that can safely turn batteries into a plastic-metal mixture, without a battery fire.
The next step, together with investors and the market, is to scale up this technology and build a full scale factory. Within this project you will be responsible for leading this team, performing market studies and investigating new markets for the technology.
